Todays Updates

Today I have added alot of pictures that I have taken more recently. I have gotten new toys to help me in my editing of pictures. I just love the sketching and it is alot of fun to play with. The sketches can be in any color that you want but my favorite so far is the black and white.

Sketches

Below are a few sketches that I have worked on. This is new for me so I will keep working with these.

Anthony..........

Anthonys 2 Year Pics

As my first official job my cousin asked that I take his sons 2 year pictures. This is Anthony Wade. He is all boy and would not stop for a minute. We spent 2 hours just playing in the park and let things happen. He would not let go of the sticks!!

Florida 2008 Continued

Florida 2008

Each year when we go to Florida I take the kids down to the beach for pictures. These are some of the shots from this year.

Getting Late

Well I have posted alot this evening and I guess you can tell that my focus is really on catching the "whatever happens happens" moments. I think the shots of everyone just being themselves are the most fun. I am starting to put together books for the kids and I can give a full story of so many pictures that I have included. I just remember that look and exactly what was happening at that moment. Those are my favorite. I will add more soon.

Sarahs First Year At The Beach

This is from Sarahs first year at the beach. Many of her early pictures are not digital so I am in the process of doing alot of scanning and editing but this one is my favorite.

At The Beach 2007

This is one of my favorites of Sarah because her bright red hair shows so well.
This was one of the only shots we got of Jack with Sarah. She chased him around trying to get him to stay still. He has not stopped to this day!

This was a picture of Jack. He was just so excited about the beach once he got used to it. We used this picture on his 1st Birthday Invitation. Sarah got the giggles during this shot but it is one of my favorites.
She chased him in this picture to get that kiss. She just loves him so much.

At The Beach

This was from one of Jacks first visits to the beach. I just had to get a picture of those curls before I cut his hair for the first time. This was him playing in the sand. Here he was playing Peek A Boo with Greydad. So much fun.

Jack was Flash for his first Halloween. I could not believe he left the mask on all day and was really proud!!

At The Farm

On a summer visit to the Candler Farm. Sarah debated for a long time whether she wanted to ride that tire swing. She eventually decided against it because she saw the boys fall off of it too many times.

This is one of my favorites of Sarah at the Pumpkin Patch. She was climbing all over them pumpkins and having so much fun.

In 2003 we found out that the Burches were moving to Michigan and I wanted to take some pictures for Grandmom and Greydad to have as a keepsake before they left.

This is my favorite picture of Sarah with Santa. We were at Silver Dollar City. This was the first time that she would sit in his lap and she was just amazed. It hangs in our front hall in black and white.

Just The Beginning....

Well here we are. One of my biggest dreams....Photography. I have always loved to take pictures and have taken thousands of pour Sarah, my AngelBear. She was the best subject for me to practice on that I could ever ask for. She always did anything I asked her to do as long as we could do some silly shots in the process. A trait she no doubt gets from her Daddy. So I did my first official shoot for my cousin who turned 2 August 19th. I had such a great time. Of course always doubting my own work I asked for a few opinions and got great feedback and even some friends that wanted me to take pictures for them. A great friend, Kelly, and my cousin, Ashley, have been some of the best encouragement that I could ask for so here we go. Of course, I can't afford a domain name right now so I thought this would be a good place to show off some work since I have experience with blogging. In the following posts you will find alot of work that I did with Sarah and her little brother Jack. Many of the pictures are taken in Florida on our yearly trip. I love taking the pictures on the beach. It is so natural and the kids love it. I will add more as we go.
